The Popular Show Season Four Introduces the Soldiers Group

Since the launch of Campaign 4, fresh DM Brennan Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with extensive world-building, a wide array of personalities, and a gripping narrative including divine entities, evil spirits, and sinister influences growing in strength within the city.

Note: Revealing details for the third episode of the new season follow below.

The Soldiers Table Unveiled

Episode 3 concluded with a huge suspense moment and introduced the initial group of heroes who will separate from the primary party to undertake their separate journey, apart from the additional parties.

This warrior group includes Teor Pridesire (played by the voice actor), the agile character (Laura Bailey), the fierce warrior (Whitney), Wicander Halovar (Sam), and Kattigan (Robbie Daymond).

Why Split the Party?

With a large ensemble, it was clear from the beginning that keeping everyone at a single group would be unfeasible.

That’s why, the first four episodes of the new season serve as an Introduction, intertwining the individual narratives before splitting into three smaller tables: Soldiers, Strategists, and Seekers.

Characteristics of the Warrior Group

As described by Brennan Lee Mulligan, the combat-focused party is for participants who enjoy a traditionally charged battle-oriented story mode where peaceful solutions are scarce.

At first glance, characters like the reluctant priest Wicander might look out of place, but the actions of episode 3 demonstrate why these particular heroes are perfectly fit for the warrior group.

Reasons to Leave

First, the party knows exactly where to go next after a intense opening clash with the enemy group.

Casimir of the deceased character—whose death kicked off the campaign’s events—used The Crow Keepers for his own means, entering the secret base, striking Thimble, and taking all the magical artifacts to sell off.

The traitor then paid off his debts and ran away to a fortified location in Gormalay, Timmony, beyond Dol-Makjar, with Cyd hot on his heels.

Personal Motivations

Moreover, each adventurer has a specific drive to exit the metropolitan area:

  • The rogue, as the close ally and best friend, wants retribution.
  • Kattigan has experience in Timmony and warns that it is a hostile place.
  • The strong character and The healer, having defied his house’s orders to eliminate the fighter and instead rescued him, have no other options.
  • However, their reputation as important members in House Halovar could help the team reach locations they normally couldn’t.
  • Furthermore, Teor swore a life debt to Wicander for his salvation and will now go with him anywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

Finally, all of them are wanted by the rulers that control Dol-Makjar for a variety of reasons, making lingering locally no longer safe:

  • Thimble and Kattigan are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The warrior and The cleric defied House Halovar and the horde of evil beings they are partnered with.
  • Teor is wanted dead by House Halovar.

This leaves them little choice but to head to the remote area in search of the antagonist.

Future Episodes

From the recent installment’s post-show segment, we find out that the Soldiers table will be absent next week, leaving the other eight participants to assemble the Questers and Schemers tables.

Viewers can expect finding out which adventurers will be where in Campaign 4’s last Overture episode, streaming live on the upcoming Thursday.
